Hi there,

after following advice given on this list I have my RH 6.2 box running
sm200d with IP forwarding and a crossover cable to box running BeOS and
occasionally win2k advanced server.

This works very well most of the time but occasionally when I connect to
Ultra using kppp I cannot access the DNS servers. If I log in using the
modem only I can surf the web no worries. The servers I am using are the
ones given on the IHUG web site... er.... 203.109.252.42 (primary),
203.109.252.43 (secondary).

>From recollection ping times-out and traceroute just sits there. If this
happens tonight I produce a typescript and list all the config details such
as ifconfig, /etc/hosts, etc.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Regards,

Paul.
