We've been working on a wee perl script that monitors the sm200dstats program
and when you lose lock, it instructs diald to go down and come back up using
only the modem (ie change PPP username).

Then when it gets 20 minutes of consecutive locks it switches back to Satellite
again.

I'm just waiting for the guy who wrote it to say its OK to GPL it and then I'll
make it available to anyone who's interested.

So, flick me (or this list) an e-mail if you're keen to get a copy. Theres no
support, but its an easy to understand script and I wanted to make it available
to everyone in case others have the same need :)
