Centrix has been available for Internet access for quite some time.
However, I believe Telecom have made a decision to stop offering Centrix to
new customers. They seem to think the customer should use ADSL or simlar
alternatives.

Clear offer(ed?) the same service called Gateway, which I believe has a data
version aswell. But you and an ISP would have to be on the same Clear
Switch (I think we are) and change to Clear ISDN. Last time I talked to
Clear, it seemed they made no guarantee they would keep running the service
now that Telecom was dropping Centrix. Probably not worth the move.
